AFC Arts Adventure Camp
Things You Need to Know
The Camp Day
  • Morning Drop off occurs from 8:30am – 8:45am at the main gym of the camp-site
  • Daily programming takes place between 8:45am – 4:15pm
  • End of the day pick-up is at 4:15pm
Health & Safety
  • Low camper-to-staff ratios are maintained throughout the summer to ensure maximum supervision.
  • All staff are required to wear a camp shirt for easy identification.
  • All staff are trained in emergency procedures, problem-solving techniques, leadership as well as many other camp related topics.
  • All staff are certified in first aid and CPR.
  • Campers should come to camp with sunscreen, hat and a water bottle.
Food
  • All campers are required to bring a lunch to camp each day. Please ensure that no nuts or nut products come to camp, as we are a nut sensitive environment.
  • The camp will provide a twice-daily snack for all campers.
Visitor's Day
  • There will be a visitor's day presentation for family and friends on the last Thursday of each session.
    • Session 1: Wednesday, July 23rd
    • Session 2: Thursday, August 14th
  • An invitation to attend will be sent to you in the first week of camp outlining all the details of the event.
What to Wear
  • Campers should wear comfortable clothes that can get messy.
  • Shorts, t-shirts, running shoes and sandals are all appropriate camp wear. Campers will be required to have running shoes for both the dance and sports program.
  • Camp t-shirts must be worn on field trips and Visitor's Days.
Camp Gear
  • Every camper who attends the Arts Adventure Camp will be given a free camp t-shirt.
